This National Portal of NBTC is dedicated to information on Blood Transfusion Services and Resources. NBTC housed within NACO (National Aids Control Organization) is the apex body governed under the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare (Government of India) assisting the Union Government in formulating policy in relation to all matters pertaining to operation of blood centers. The NBTC is the central body that coordinates with the State Blood Transfusion Councils (SBTCs) and also ensures involvement of other Ministries and other health programmes for various activities related to Blood Transfusion Services (BTS).
