As an IT Project Manager, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing and managing various IT projects, ensuring their successful execution from conception to completion. You will lead a team of at least four individuals, guiding them through project milestones and ensuring deliverables meet quality standards and client expectations.
*Key Responsibilities:*
1. *Project Leadership:* Lead and manage IT projects, including software application development, web development, ERPs, CRMs, and other IT solutions.
2. *Team Management:* Supervise and mentor a team of at least four individuals, providing guidance, support, and motivation to ensure optimal performance and collaboration.
3. *Client Relationship Management:* Source leads and clients from IT business development managers (ITBDM) and establish strong relationships with clients. Act as the primary point of contact for clients, addressing their needs, concerns, and requirements throughout the project lifecycle.
4. *Project Execution:* Take ownership of project execution, from initial planning and scoping to implementation and delivery. Ensure projects are completed within budget, on schedule, and in adherence to quality standards.
5. *Risk Management:* Identify and mitigate project risks, proactively addressing issues that may impact project timelines or deliverables. Implement effective risk management strategies to ensure project success.
6. *Communication:* Maintain clear and open communication channels with team members, clients, and stakeholders, providing regular updates on project progress, milestones, and any relevant developments.
*Requirements:*
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in project management within the IT sector, with a proven track record of successfully managing IT projects.
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to lead and motivate a team towards project goals.
- Excellent client-facing and communication abilities, with the capacity to build and maintain strong client relationships.
- Proficiency in project management methodologies and tools, with the ability to effectively plan, execute, and monitor project activities.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred.
- PMP or PRINCE2 certification is a plus.
